House of the future, called Polyhedra House is placed on the cliffs of Palisades Park in New Jersey. The house would offer an incredible views across the Hudson River and challenge gravity laws.<br /><br /><a name="more"></a><br />"The Palisades are a line of steep cliffs along the west side of the lower Hudson River in northeastern New Jersey and southern New York in the United States. The cliffs stretch north from Jersey City to near Nyack, New York. They rise nearly vertically from near the edge of the river and are among the most dramatic geologic features in the vicinity of New York City, forming a canyon of the Hudson River north of Fort Lee, as well as providing a vista of the New York City skyline.<br /><br />Starting with a vertical rectangle of tower form, a design is carved out based on various framed views, topological considerations, and the sun's path through the sky. The final design is revealed as a crystalline asymmetrical polyhedron.<br /><br />The ground floor level contains the main living space which includes kitchen, dining and living areas. A staircase leads to bedrooms above and a small terrace. This is one of the tallest towers in his realty kingdom. Trump International Hotel and Tower in Chicago, work of <a href="http://www.som.com/content.cfm/www_home">SOM Architects</a>, was built in 2009, 357m to the roof and 423m to the top of the spire. With 98 floors, Trump Tower Chicago is second tallest tower in Chicago after Willis (Sears) Tower.<br /><br /><a name="more"></a><br />"Designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merril, the Trump Tower resides in the space formerly occupied by the Chicago Sun-Times and sits on the North side of the Chicago River just west of the Wrigley Building.  In October 2004, the demolition of the former Chicago Sun-Times Building began and in March 2005 construction began. The demolition and construction were financed by a $650 million dollar loan from Deutsche Bank and a trio of hedge fund investors.<br /><br />The design of the building incorporates three setbacks to help lend an aesthetically pleasing continuity to the Chicago skyline. Each of the setbacks is designed to reflect the nearby buildings: the first was designed to align with the Wrigley Building, the second with the Marina City Towers, and the third with the 330 North Wabash building.<br /><br />The building contains 486 luxury residential condominiums. The condominiums range from studios all the way up to five-bedroom penthouse units. The building is also home to a luxury hotel condominium with 339 guest rooms.
